Meet in public

For a first meeting, choose a public meeting place, arrange your own transport and let someone you trust know your plans. You can leave at any time.

Protect your privacy

Your city, fellowship, sobriety time, recovery history, bio and photos are hidden from member pages unless you choose to show them in your profile. Previously shared photo links may still work. Avoid sharing your home address, phone number or financial details with strangers.

Report and block

Drug sales, harassment, solicitation, scams, financial requests, impersonation and romantic or sexual pressure are not welcome here. Use Report member on their profile to send a private report for admin review. Block member to stop seeing each other's profiles. If you feel unsafe, leave the interaction and contact local authorities.

In an emergency

SoberStyle is not a treatment provider, crisis service or emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number. For urgent recovery or mental-health help, reach out to a qualified local service or trusted person.
